This sounds nice, but in reality "legalizing rape" wouldn't mean "legalizing rape" since "rape" is a non-consensual physical violation- you couldn't exactly "legalize" rape but then criminalize assault, for example, that wouldn't be possible. At least of females.
Of course, others have pointed out that gay men would rape as well, which is obvious and a good point, unless one had a stipulation, "ONLY FEMALES can be raped". Which of course would get the gay men upset and calling hypocrisy- and they might eventually get what they wanted.
If you could "rape" females, then you could assault females, and steal from them. What are they going to do, work jobs when rape is legal?
Obviously impossible. This would effectively mean women would be banned from supporting themselves or even owning property. "Oh yes, you can own property but men can rape you"
Effectively, they would be reduced to chattel.
If they were chattel in this laissez-faire manner that "legalizing rape" brings to mind, then essentially women would be relocated, imprisoned, placed in sex dungeons, etc.
However, without laws to regulate their distribution, women would essentially be corralled by the men with the most strength, power, and resources. Since men don't give a shit about the law if they can have a sex slave even briefly, lawlessness would ensue. Barbarians, thugs, gangs, and warlords would run society, and order would be restored by the warlord who was able to effectively convince others that his rule is just, secure women, and regulate their trade under a strict code of property laws.
Women wouldn't be hot sluts dancing around waiting for incels to rape them; they'd be in hijabs chained in cages inside the warlords' palace, locked away from all to see.
Islam is the pure distillation of this.
Essentially, society would become pre-2015 Saudi Arabia.
And frankly, you know what? I don't want to live in pre-2015 Saudi fucking Arabia. I just don't. It doesn't align with my values, and it's ass.
