MMA/BJJ is literally the best martial art you can learn, a lot of clubs do both together
self defence in the UK and Ireland usually leaves you in jail and the attacker getting away with it

In most of the world sadly self defence is only on paper, in real life you will oftentimes get a longer sentence than the attacker.
The problem is that punches deform your face, incels become even more incels after repeated years of constant punches to the face.
I recommend practicing on your own without blows to the head or doing a taekwondo or jujitsu, or any type of martial art that is not so harmful.
Practice shadowing on your own and get a punching bag.
