So if anyone here knows me a little it has been almost a year since I finished my BSc in Computer Science.
Right now I work in some sort of customer service on the phone which has nothing to do with what I learned, about 7 mins drive from my home.
I make about 3000USD/month from it..
This is what I have been offered:
Intensive 10 hours a days for 5 days a week for 7 months, super intense boot camp for some random hi-tech company.
Where is by the way 1 hour drive away from me for every direction.
In that course I will receive about 1/4th of what I make every month.
After the 7 month boot camp I will earn the same amount of money I make right now in the customer service for one year.
But I would still need to drive for an hour in every direction and the job would also require me to actually use my brain and get shit done on time..
So if you count in the money I would waste on fuel and time it takes to drive in every direction... meh I would rather stay in customer service..
After a year they will increase my pay by x1.25 before taxes, which is still pretty shit..
After that year they wouldn't tell me how much they would pay me to stay there assuming I won't get fired before that..
Should I take this offer?
I wonder if after those 2 years I would be able to receive a salary that's respectful and I am talking about double what I make now from customer service, if not with them with another hi-tech company..
What do you think boyos?
