Should I pursue another degree?

I'm well on my way to finishing a bachelor and a master's in a semi-creditable field though it does not lead to any immediate qualifications; it's more of a generalist degree.

I was admitted to another program and could complete well more than 100 credits of that degree through credit transfer so it would not be too hard in that sense. Then again it cannot be completed by distance, the study counselor has been abrasive and the travel seems like a waste. I don't have a car and while public transport is decent I could not even make my first mandatory sitting in the uni without booking a hotel. An independent study counselor did not recommend getting another master's that does not give me novel professional qualifications.

I take it you wanna find a job after finishing your master's. You think the master's degree you're currently pursuing will give you ample job opportunities?

Some opportunities; basically any job that requires some random master's degree and a few specialist jobs that are few and far between. I intend to gain teaching qualifications to improve my prospects.

Not doing the other degree would give me time to pursue a lot more minors by distance.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm getting the sense you're trying to cast your net as wide as possible more than anything. In that case I probably wouldn't bother if I was you, based on my very limited grasp of your situation.

this sounds like the better alternative to me, provided you're indeed trying to cast your net as wide as possible

No, college is the biggest wastes of money and time you can imagine.

1. Is this a Doctorate
2. What are the faculty like and are they personable
3. What is the degree cost

1. No, master's but I also have to complete the bachelor's since I could not apply directly to the master's program. I might be able to take out almost 150 out of 300 credits (total) in credit transfers
2. Don't know. The study counselor was abrasive. I won't do much socializing. I will try to study by distance 95%
3. Less than 100 euros a year plus all the travel

16 credits missing. Will complete 5 of those credits this summer almost certainly. Then will need to do my entire bachelor's thesis which has been clocked to take from September till May 2025 and cannot be rushed. In addition to that all that remains then is a 2 credit course on Microsoft software that I've been putting off.
