Experiment Should I join the military?

I'm not a fan of the US government but joining military and getting benefits seems a lot better than being a wage cuck at a repetitive job for 12 bucks an hour. My parents really don't want me to join but it just seems way more interesting than an entree level job. I'd hate to get shot or blown up and if I end up changing my mind, I'm stuck with it. Any other youngcels thinking about it or what would people who have done it would have to say?

I actually did join the army. I quit during training. I hated it. I hated being surrounded by loud normalfags all the time. It is retarded. No. You're not going to be some badass killer soldier. You're going to get deployed and do nothing your entire career. All these military faggots that think they are awesome are a joke. 99% of them haven't done anything.

Honestly, it was the best decision I made in my life. Yes, you are surrounded by normalfags, but if you aren't a snowflake and are high IQ enough to get a decent job and adapt to local politics then it is a pretty sweet gig. I would actually recommend the Marines if you are able to get a job in intelligence and are fit enough to maintain a 1st class PFT tbh tbh, ngl. One of my major regrets in life was not going back into the service as a HUMINT Marine when specifically asked.
