I used to have long hair since middle school. It was never a subculture thing, I just like the look.
Later I fell for the looksmaxing meme and cut it. Femoids seemed more fond of it, but the eternal babyface can't be helped: I have a choice of looking like a little girl with grown-up man's body or Kim Jong-Un wannabe.
There are some practical advantages to keeping hair short, namely not using a shit ton of shampoo, but you have to get a haircut every month or so to keep it somewhat manageable (I have Semitic-tier hair: it's insanely thick, it grows fast and if it decides to become wavy or curly at some part, it can't be helped). In case of long hair, you have to cut it every 6 month or so and it still looks good enough (as far as being a long-haired dude with babyface is concerned).
I don't experience any balding and it's improbable that I will in the near future. I wouldn't go as autistic this time, because having it almost reach your butt is extremely impractical, but I could rock a medium-length (a bit above the shoulders) hairstyle. It'd be neither practical (the most practical option would be shaving it clean) nor appealing to the femoids, but it'd certainly help my self esteem.
I know it's peculiar, but keeping my hair short remains a constant reminder that at some point I thought that altering my looks and personality is a good way to appeal to the femoids. I've given up all hope: there's probably a higher chance that I'd come across a girl with some weird fetish for this look than fitting the normie beauty standards.
I might as well maximize comfort and growing my hair out again would help with it. I had a dream recently where God gave me a bunch of mirrors which showed different versions of me and I looked at the long-haired childish-looking version and was like 'damn, I wish'.
Any other long-haired incels here? Should I go with it?
