I mean I'm in Iraq and its a slowly rebuilding itself after years of war so definitely there is hope

A literal doctor/engineer from Iraq!

In EU "doctors and engineers" is a euphemism for "illiterate migrants" xD

Just study both bro

if u don’t do it for ur parents & you’re actually passionate about these fields, i see no problem. these degrees also give u a better chance to escape ur turd world country. why not

If i become a surgeon i will do 50% discount or even more for truecels

Med school. Engineering is the most cucked degree.

Engineering but it's going to be hard with all the physics

medicine for status
biotechnology engineering for money

Do you want to sit at a desk doing design calculations?

Or do you want to stick a thermometer up Chad's grandfather's asshole?

Your answer to this question will tell you which way to go.

In Iraq, medicine is probably a better career opportunity than engineering. However, it will be very hard to practice medicine if you were to immigrate to the West. Engineering provides more flexibility in adapting across borders, if that’s a desire of yours.

I’m personally an engineer, but in the US. It pays less than medicine, but it’s a cushy job. Not sure how chill engineering is in your country.

Would you rather rebuild buildings/infrastructure? Or repair bomb victims?

medicine is not an incels job ngl you have to be very charismatic and socially outgoing

Definitely engineering if you're from Iraq. My reasoning is that with engineering, its a proof of high math ability and visual intelligence, and is very transferable to a lot of other jobs globally. Being from Iraq will mean that if you decide on medicine, you will be almost forced to stay in the middle east, as the west will not accept your medical degree.

Also as others mentioned, engineering allows you to stay behind a screen, and people are not going to trust an incel looking doctor for their health.

Engineering. Probably aim for civil, mechanical or electrical.

why wouldn't the west accept my degree? same topics same subjects like wtf also i don't have any plans to move to the west but thats absurd jfl

thing is med school here especially if ur a surgeon would pay off very well

Be a doctor, being an engineer have zero status. If you're a doctor you can marry a nurse or a patient

Of course they have a future lmao. Electricity is gonna be increasing significantly in demand due to grid upgrades, data centers being built everywhere and increase in electrification of the world, all of which require electrical engineers. Civil engineering will always be relevant due to infrastructure and buildings always being built as well.

Brutal AF shit bro... But probably true...

If Iraq had any sense they'd prevent a "brain drain" (loss of their most intelligent people) and offer lots of perks...

they do offer perks tho , if you get a high ass degree in the national exams they would offer you to send to harvard or oxford or any IV league university in the west but after you are done with your degree you have to return and start serving (i.e start teaching students on what you learned and also start working for the government but they do pay you a shitload of money and how do i know this? because of my uncle and my cousin one of them was sent to cambridge the other one was sent to oxford now they have returned and they live a very good life)

Engineering, since it is not tied to reimbursements from the government like Medicine is. You never know if your government will cut pay to doctors by half and you will just be a poorfag slaving away.

Unironically you can study both, and go into med tech and make patents.

Mogs me. But med school becaude the only high paying jobs left will be caring for boomers who shit their pants

Noooooo he will burnout and become socially inept,

Brocels over normies & foids

But relatively engineers have a higher unemployment rate, career dissatisfaction & career change.

Engineering IMO

engineering

med school is absurdly expensive

The application process is also a retarded humiliation ritual. Engineering is better and as I've said before, I'd go for that if I could do it over, but I'm stuck on the medicuck track.
