What is the point? There's not any good, general content on reddit anymore as it was all banned. It's only real use now is if you have a specific interest, you might want to check out the specific sub for it. But even that is not so good due to how bad the reddit userbase is. They can make any topic shitty. It's not even a meme; Any decent user is immediately banned from the site which has created a sort of artificial selection where all the users are basically sentient soybeans. Years and years of moderation filtering out all the non-soy has created a situation where you're left with only the most pure, condensed soy imaginable. Anything that this soy touches turns to soy itself.
