1. Very expensive. Litter and food are super expensive now.
2. Way too much effort. The amount if effort you need to put forth to just maintain a healthy cat is massive.
3. They are ungrateful bastards. They will attack you for little to no reason, They will also try to run away any time you open a door.
4. Messy as hell. Not only do they vomit everywhere but if they are unhappy with their situation they will piss and shit on the floor as an act of defiance.
