RageFuel Should I do a cope even if my parents think it's silly?

I really like languages, but I don't have a need to learn a foreign one, so I will just get really good at the ones I already know (native lang + English).
My goal is to get elite level at both English and native lang, master all grammar, vocabmaxx, pick up proper writing style, rhetoric, etc. and be able to expression mog normies.
But my parents think it's a silly hobby, even though it means a lot to me.
It will help me cope like 40% better. Should I just do it? Btw inb4 kids.is, I am 26

This general goal involves subactivities such as readmaxxing, so I would read every book I can get my hands on, politics, history, self-help, etc. and literally mine words. It's so fun, I don't want to blogpost about it, but I like this solitary hobby.
