I probably would actually have been around 6 foot+ if all my male relatives are an indication if my parents didn't force me to take meds throughout my late childhood and entire puberty that are known to inhibit growth. That was known at the time too and the doctors even told them about it.

It really is a coin toss. My mom is short but all the men in her family are super tall (6'3+). Meanwhile on my dads side most of them are pretty short (5'6+). My dad is 6'0 and my mom is 5'3. My height is 5'9

5'2 female is equivalent to 5'6.5 male. So you were most likely to be somewhere between 5'6.5 and 6'2, with about 5'10 as the midpoint. So 5'11 is pretty much right, slightly lucky. Serves your dad right for marrying a subhuman hobbit woman.
