My abusive mother sometimes tells me stories from my childhood which are incredibly depressing and pathetic but she finds funny.
She told me once when I was 2 years old she found me in her room with baby powder all over my face. She said I told her I wanted my skin to be white, and asked her why it wasn’t so.
Honestly makes me nauseous thinking how pathetic that is, but apart from that, how incredibly sad it is that I was already discriminated and found myself disadvantaged by my appearance at such a young age
Do any of you have similar stories?
