Lots of Romani gypsies settled in slavic countries like Slovakia, Czech republic, mostly Romania and Hungary thoughgermanics have more ethnic features(like curly hair) than slavs do. no idea where you would get gypsy-like features from unless you are balkan or some weird ethnic minority(therefore non-slavic).

Or the other way around. Since the term sclavi was merely a collective term used by Frankish chroniclers for pagans east of the Elbe. Incidentally, the word slave only came into circulation in the 18th century due to a translation error. August-Ludwig Schlözer introduced this word for the first time because he forgot the letter c when translating it from Latin into german. He turned sclavi into the word "Slave".
