idk how much you know about miiverse lore but it was literally insane and impossible to replicate on any other forum

the report system was super erratic and functioned almost like an RPG combat system or some shit and the userbase was all antisocial 13 year olds with nothing better to do and just the way the site was designed led to unironic ethnic conflict and war between communities and when someone gets console banned they’re actually dead and that’s the last you ever see of them

I’ve spent literal hours discussing the ethnic and cultural developments of miiverse lore with people

I could talk about this all day but the basic history is that there was never a designated off topic community so the smash pre-release community ended up filling that role. this developed a culture referred to as the smashers. after the game was released and the smash pre-release community was removed, the smashers decided to establish the legend of Zelda community as their new home. this led to the native LoZC users organizing in to groups who acted like the Viet Cong and shit by waging a war of resistance against the smashers by launching targeted mass reports against them. some of them would focus pn assassinating active/influential users to force the smashers to disperse or assimilate while others were merciless and wanted to kill as many smashers as possible. was like hundreds of casualties in total (users getting console banned) over the course of the war

ultimately the smashers were expelled from the LoZC to the Wii Fit U Community, an uninhabited hinterlands that soon became their new capital. the fact that like half of the OG userbase was literally permanently banned in a vietnam style war led to a significant cultural shift between the WFU smashers and old smashers. but overall there was relative peace in this time period and no major threats to smasher civilization

I LDARed on it back then. Had a few Jewgle+ frens back in the day that I met on Miiverse kek. They’re gone now though. I can’t really remember Miiverse that vividly because the fluoride fucked my cognitive skills but I remember it being generally autistic as fuck and also I was super jealous of the art on there.
