between games, anime, movies, and OVAs do u know how much pokemon content has been released since u were a child? in particular, there are SOOOOO many pokemon games that are essentially the same (red/blue, leaf green/fire red, etc it'd be a mindfuck to complete. this is torturous and impossible to do without getting to fuck her between seasons.

even assuming u were going through it like a full time job it'd take a lot more than a couple of months. im telling ya for the average person who has to work ALL of their free time will be absorbed by pokemon for years.
Man you're overestimating it too much, a post from 2023 said that pokemon had more or less 1000 chapters released. That's less than One Piece has and you can binge one piece in a couple of months if you're dedicated enough, even with a full time job. Let's say that you also play all of the games, how much could that take you? I can say for sure less than a year.
The main issue here is that if you don't like pokemon it will be pure torture, but there are a lot of people that are super fans of it. So it will be heaven, personally i don't give a shit about it. But if you told me that i'll get a GF who won't cheat on me and will be my soulmate going forward, i would do it 100000% no questions asked

most of pokemon is filler. a simple google search says there's 1,300 episodes and counting. and im MUCH MUCH more intimidated by the games, of which there are about 122. and most of these games are copy paste RPGs where u may even get lost, extending ur playtime by that much. If you want to play the main story of every Pokemon game mentioned above, that is 616 hours of playtime. If you have your heart set on 100 percent completion for every Pokemon game we've mentioned, then you are looking at 3,008 hours of playtime.
this is for every pokemon game that is not a spin-off.
It's quite a long time, but it's still doable. Do you feel like this is too hard? There are people that go to the gym for years just to get a GF, there's also people who aim to get high paying jobs for the same reason, and the grind will for sure be harder. This pales in comparison.
I'm also sure that you can fastforward and use guides, so the time could be reduced even further

The problem is u still need to work and in order to feel comfortable standing side by side with a 10/10 giga stacy like her you'd prob still go to the gym or at the very least cease food coping. 8 hours for work + 8 hours for sleep + 2 hours for shower/shit/eat and you'll max out at about 6 hours of free time on weekdays (u can't doze off in the middle of an episode and skip it, ur pokemon junkie gf will smack you), locking you in this pokemon hell for years.
you'll be dreaming of pokemon, you'll be playing pokemon at the work break room, you'll be drawing pokemon at work, you'll be thinking about pikachu in ur car or on the bus, you'll be comparing every animal u see outside to a pokemon. after the honeymoon period has passed and i get used to intimacy (couple months in) I think I'd go crazy 100%. seeing how she's forcing me to do this in the first place she'd probably speak only of pokemon herself. pikachu is probably her God
