Society functions properly when men have a reason to buy into the system to build and maintain the society. A system that doesn't equitably distribute access to females will not be seen as legitimate by the men who are carrying it. Even Atlas Shrugged and once men begin to divest from the that system it begins to fall apart. Instead of trying to fix the problem society only tries to spurn these men, which tells me society is hostile to even having the conversation that this is a problem that needs to be corrected.
