Killers are generally more sane than what the media and retarded TV shows label them as. Both sane and insane humans have been brutally murdering each other for hundreds of thousands of years. Every once in a while, there is a killer who records his life and his beliefs in-depth, and that killer is almost guaranteed a cult following which is mostly edgelords and mindless women but also can include genuine researchers who adopt similar views and even some copycats.
An excellent example of this is with mass shooters. Eric and Dylan were inspired by two shooting plans and McVeigh, Cho Seung Hui was inspired by Columbine, Pekka Auvinen was inspired by Cho, Matti Saari was inspired by Pekka Auvinen, Adam Lanza researched Matti Saari, Chris Harper-Mercer cited Elliot Rodger (who researched Cho) and Adam Lanza as influences, then Stephen Paddock's massacre coincidentally took place on the same day as Chris Harper-Mercer's shooting, and Stephen Paddock had even been around to witness Charles Whitman's sniper attack.
