I applied to this part time catering position at my local hospital couple weeks ago and was supposed to do this phone interview for the job but the interviewee claims she called my phone and it went straight to voicemail(which is a lie because I saw no recent calls during that time frame). This whole ordeal honestly angers me cuz I went through the same shit last year with this, but the real issue is my father FUCKING EGGING ON about this job. He did this shit last year when I applied to a patient transport position at the hospital, and blamed me for them not being interested in me. He also gives false hope in assuming that since the lady(the one who supervises that position) told my reference “is he gonna be an attitude problem” that the job is coming my way. He gives false hope a LOT when it comes to my life and what I need to do.
So fast forward today, he’s doing the same shit, literally threatening to take me off his insurance if I didn’t do what he asked, which was sending a follow up email requesting another phone interview and that I’m interested in the job(I’m really not). I ended emailing her(cuz my dad is a petty faggot) after showing my dad what I was gonna say. As expected, have yet to get a response. And this was on the 12th. And even then if I wanted another interview, there’s a way to reschedule on my own. Then also his retarded boomer ass thinks if I simply show interest in the position, I’d get it, when it isn’t even about wanting the job, it’s about what you have to offer to the job. And judging from the last time I applied, Jack shit. I also applied to the catering position last year and didn’t get that one either. So yeah my question to guys is, do you think one could get a job just by basically e-begging for it?
