19-year-old Influencer from Serbia, Tijana Radonjić, was enjoying a vacation on the coast of Montenegro with her aunt. On the beach, due to her attractive appearance, she was approached by a parasailing vendor who offered her the experience for free in exchange for filming a promotional video. Tijana agreed, completed the safety instructions before the flight, and seemed confident throughout.
However, once in the air, she began to panic abnormally. For reasons that remain unclear, in her panic she removed her life vest and unbuckled her harness. Moments later, she fell from a height of 165 feet into the Adriatic Sea.
Although help arrived quickly, rescuers could do nothing but declare her dead. Even though water is soft, at such a height the speed of the fall makes it behave almost like a solid surface.
The company operating the parasailing activity expressed condolences but stated that they do not consider themselves responsible. All their safety standards comply with international norms, and Tijana had undergone professional training before the flight.
