Sent 2 copies of a game for some reason wtf

For some inexplicable reason I was sent 2 factory sealed copies of Indiana on PS5, has this ever happened to anyone before?. I was perplexed by 2 game parcels through the post, assuming it was another game I pre-ordered. I double checked my order details and recent transactions and was billed for 1 copy at £62. I only needed 1 copy of the game, now I'm kinda bewildered.

will I get the full value or a cut?. Its factory sealed but surely a consumer wouldn't pay full value from me on ebay or somethin when they can just pay that anywhere. Maybe I'd have to sell it at £5-10 cheaper than its value just to get a sale.

Unless I could take it to a pawn shop an they somehow give me full value cash for a sealed copy but I think they would still treat it as 2nd hand even if its fuckin factory sealed. I've never been in this situation before tbh.

so about £2 cheaper than the average price or somethin?. I've not used ebay for a long time, I have other stuff to sell as well like a Switch Lite, PS3, PS4 Pro, even an old arse PS2 with some Silent Hill games, been sittin there for time collecting dust as I just don't know how to go about sellin to maximise my value.

I had a stack of 35 ps4 an switch games to sell in a black bin bag that I already played. Unfortunately I think my mum binned them by accident which I was gutted about.

Even included some switch games that I now would have liked to play on switch 2, had to pre-order BOTW switch 2 version full price because I lost the game with that stack of games.

This only happened to me once when I ordered a Halloween mask when I was a kid. I got like 5 of the same mask (it was a $40 mask for Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre) instead of 1. Lucky as hell this happens to you with games. They do not message you back for these things.

If I were you, I would keep it sealed for the far future, but you can also sell it. Though it will likely be worth a lot of money in 10+ years still sealed.

true it would probably increase in value in 10 years just like ps2 games do now, I just cba waitin that long so will prob flog it on ebay.

I'm assuming I have no obligation to return it as its their mistake for sending me 2 copies. They fucked up which is on them so I'm free to do as I please with it. Not sure what exactly, I'm sure someone will buy it from me if I discount it somewhat

It is so that once the servers shut down or your game gets removed from the atore you won't be able to play it anymore because most likely there is not the full game on the disc and you would have to download the rest in order to play it.

But once the game has been delisted you probably won't be able to play it anymore.

This has been going on since last gen.

This is why I have specifically bought the Spyro Reignited trilogy where all three games are on disc and no downloads are required to play it.

Still, online authentication and connection to your xbox / ps account is required for you to be able to play a strictly offline, single player game.

Even if your game disc contains alll required data to play the game you won't be able to play it normally, once the server are down.

Look at wha happened when the PS network was down for a week or so a few weeks ago.
