Something like Bones and Yung Lean as well as Ghostemane, you get the point.. That type of hip-hop.
No bones tho since I have all his songs downloaded already and ready to install to CD.

Old school hip hop is like art. Trap is for those among us who want to feel grimy af and only care about fat beats and trills. I listen to trap because it expresses the inner antiestablismentism I feel while I walk on campus or on crowded city streets. Trap motivates me to get up and moving as long as it is that low down dirty ish. Trap4life.

Sorry for the late response, wanted to be sure I had time and was at my own computer so I could make sure I give you a good variety from my favorite favorites.
I want to preface all of this by saying that I'm no expert in music or even trap, I just listen to a lot of music and the following is mostly my opinion/take on the genre, I'm sure some snobs out there might disagree with me about some things but fuck it.
Basically there are many different kinds of trap, and some are not even labeled as sub-genres when you search for them. I'll try to show different examples of each to see what you enjoy. You could say that this list is sort of organized from least favorite to most favite for me (except for the list of miscellaneous tracks at the end), but especially the latter categories are pretty much equal in my eyes and it's more mood- and purpose-dependent when I listen to what.
When people talk about trap, they probably usually refer to mainstream artists who have trap beats and rap over them. You should have no problems finding those. Not to sound like a hipster, but I'm not very interested in modern mainstream trap because it generally features mumble rappers who sucks as lyricists. Here is one popular example of it, in case you want it as a point of reference:
You may also be familiar with some of what I consider to be the dumbest/worst trap music because of memes. This is one such example from Keith Ape (source of the Squirtle "underwater squad" meme and the like).
In general, I think that the above 3 examples are all cancer. The rest of the list will be more listenable, or at least I find them to be enjoyable.
Trap really made a resurgence in the past ten years or so because of some EDM borrowing heavily from trap, and incorporating dubstep-like drops (usually more melodic and without the wubwub). I can see it's appeal but it generally doesn't deliver the kind of grime that I am looking from trap. Some people also consider music like this to be trap, and it is pretty popular:
Outside of the mainstream. meme, and EDM, the most "vanilla" trap is generally more beat-driven and less rap/vocal-heavy and consists largely of remixes of existing songs. Here are some mixes I enjoy which showcase this type of music:
Here is a time-stamp of my favorite track/transition/single from the above mix:

I would consider this trap to be... trippy I guess? I don't really know what to call it, but I dig it:
This is "vaportrap" or basically vaporwave mixed with trap elements. Relatively new genre, I find it interesting and it has produced some great beats so far:
This is what is called "chill" or "liquid" trap. Generally more low-key, brooding, and melodic than straight up trap music, generally less hip-hop-heavy and more vocals:
This is probably my favorite trap DJ; he generally plays what I consider to be dance-oriented trap music. The parties where he DJs are BONKERS, his online mixes don't really do his live shows justice but they are still pleasant to listen to and it gets me going. However, the ones online are really more of rhythm n' bass, Jersey club, etc. but I'd be remiss if I didn't throw him a mention here. Here are some of the more trap-oriented "singles" he has:
If you didn't find those very palatable (they are pretty damn aggressive), here are some of my favorite mixes from him, which as I mentioned are more dance-oriented in my opinion and smoother as they are more like rhythm n bass:

There are so many miscellaneous takes on trap elements, as you can see above. Here are some unsorted examples of different takes, including trap from the international scene (Korea in particular has some of my favorite trap artists), trap-pop, tropical themes, remixes of hip hop songs, etc. Dig around in the recommended videos or in the playlist that youtube suggests for any tracks you like, and explore!
I hope that was helpful and that you find something you enjoy in here! Let me know what you like and I can help you find more, feedback is very much welcome! ^^
Ah, forgot to mention one more artist/track that I really enjoy which incorporates some elements of trap in a r&b remix:
Oh crap, sorry @Morf12 , I didn't mean to sound so pedantic. I misunderstood/misremembered your post as I was typing my response and thought you were completely unfamiliar with trap, but I just now understood that you already listen to trap. Fuck, I feel silly. Well, hopefully you find some stuff you enjoy in the list anyway.
If you enjoyed some of the Korean selections, I recommend you check out this mix series (linking Vol. 3 here) where you can find more artists. Some really dope beats here:
