You have literally no bills other than car insurance and a phone bill if you want to use internet. Car insurance on an old van shouldn't cost too much. No more than $1,200 a year. Unlimited phone data should cost you about $800 a year. That brings your total expenses to $6,000 a year, but let's say you have to spend $1,000 a year on maintenance for your van, so your total is $7,000 a year. That means $15,000 can last you at LEAST 2 years, but most likely more.
