Seen from the impersonal eyes of infinity, how could God not reconcile everything to himself?

If the Christian God is real, he must save everyone. Could a loving God pointlessly torture people for a series of arbitrary decisions in which they were not perfectly and infinitely free? How can we be held infinitely accountable for finite actions?

God must love everyone enough to save them all, without exception; otherwise, he'd be a demon.

God cannot be both kind and omnipotent. Either he is omnipotent and evil, or he is kind but weak.

Very astute observation:feelshehe:. There's too much suffering in this world to justify a God providentially ordering events toward a "favorable" outcome. I think God absconded from ruling humanity the first chance he got. He's indolent.

The Abrahamic god from the Old Testament actually looks more like some kind of demon who can do anything, even force another person to sacrifice his son for the sake of showing loyalty when he asked to sacrifice Abraham's son. At least bring down great suffering on an entire nation - 12 Egyptian executions

Yes, maybe he just gave up on humanity after he created it and that would explain everything logically. It's like a person who got a pet, and then when he got tired of it, he threw it out on the street and forgot about it.

Great analogy, I've never thought about it that way. He got bored with us.
