The pictures look pretty modern too. It was also the start of the computer era.The post war half of the 20th had a depressing aesthetic. Soulless boom. But it also had a feel. It had a a vision for how to build. A vision I personally find depressing but a vision none the less.

Idk. Yeah, on the TV it seems people spoke differently back then due to the Midatlantic accent but I think the differences are mostly the same with our compatriots up north raising their vowels.Was their accent much more different to the American one in the 50s?
