I don't think this has ever been contested. All of the people that might seem like morons on here who say "JB is wrong!!!11!1!" are saying it from a sociological and psychological perspective, which is justified in many societies but not all. In terms of biology, it makes absolute sense for men to be attracted to women who have completed puberty, and for some to be attracted to those who will hit puberty soon/are mid-puberty. As I said before, sociology doesn't rewrite biology, and attraction isn't a choice.

EDIT: Article in OP could do with more sources and more accurate numbers, as well as mentions of how the information was gathered and the study conducted, but I guess that's a bit much to expect from a wordpress article.

you cant just pull one scientific study and assert it as fact. Multiple studies must confirm the same kind of results until there is general consensus on the matter. Even if there is, that doesn't give one the license to pursue young girls or satiate their lust via child pornography.

3. Another question to ask: How many other studies have been done? In science, it's not about one study, but repeated studies, with different perspectives of the same issue. If they all point toward this one conclusion that men tend to be attracted to teenage girls, it's then accepted.

Taking a look at the abstract:

Self-reported and physiological sexual arousal to adult and pedophilic stimuli were examined among 80 men drawn from a community sample of volunteers. Over ¼ of the current subjects self-reported pedophilic interest or exhibited penile arousal to pedophilic stimuli that equalled or exceeded arousal to adult stimuli. The hypothesis that arousal to pedophilic stimuli is a function of general sexual arousability factors was supported in that pedophilic and adult heterosexual arousal were positively correlated, particularly in the physiological data. Subjects who were highly arousable, insofar as they were unable to voluntarily and completely inhibit their sexual arousal, were more sexually aroused by all stimuli than were subjects who were able to inhibit their sexual arousal. Thus, arousal to pedophilic stimuli does not necessarily correspond with pedophilic behavior.

"Community sample of volunteers." How did they come to define this? Did the researchers come out and say: "Take a survey!" or "Take a survey on hebe/pedophilia!" or "Take a survey on male sexual psychology!" etc. The way researchers obtain volunteers is a bias in and of itself.

4. How did they separate arousal with teenage girls vs adult women? The methodology is important.

I'm not here to refute the findings, I just have a difficulty believing in a blog post by a journalist who is copying a study complete over 2 decades ago.

Just a disclaimer, I am a chemistry major and know nothing about psych/sociology. 

Evolution doesn't change overnight. But how people act changes. This has important consequences in self-selected studies, as far as I know. The societal pressures of men to admit that they like younger girls might change. Take a look at other countries in Asia and the Middle East, where it's acceptable to like younger girls there. It's not so much here. These societal/cultural "barriers" and "pressures" in the US might have changed in two decades.
