I hate the appeal to nature argument because most people who use it do not even know what "nature" they are appealing to. Every other animal simply mates as it can, often by force. We, on the other hand, made reproduction dependent on female choice and look at where it has led. If one were truly to appeal to nature, then rape would be more "natural" than modern dating.
