I remember my end of school prom, I just sat at the edge by myself and was ignored. I got up to go to the toilet and on the way back I got too close walking past a popular stacy star athlete and she must have thought I was going to ask her to dance. She kneed me in the side of my thigh without saying a word and I hobbled back to sit down where I was. Some guys came up to me, saying what are you doing, stay away from her or else! We don't have exactly a prom here but I didn't go to my high school closing ceremony.
I never went to Prom so kudos for going. For all the guys who say that OP is too young to be incel, I present this experience as a STRONG indicator of his inceldom. I went to prom in 2013. Spent a few hours just talking to friends, no girl agreed to go with me ofc. Decided to go home way earlier than anyone else, almost cried on the way home on the empty train.
Prom is one of the worst things in our education process.

I was extremely depressed because of prom. Thankfully I skipped it, but my parents got really pissed off when they found out about a week later that prom was on that day and I didn't go.
