According to people on this forum, you can be a non-incel even if you're a virgin for many reasons.
The simplest reason is that incel/volcel is a false dichotomy if viewed in absolute terms, a D+C tactic meant to split the manosphere against itself via purity-spiraling.
Reasonable men understand everyone is simultaneously both incel and volcel to specific portents of the population. Even non-celibates who fuck women every night.
Why we identify as incel is that we are "more incel" as a predominant theme, to a variety of sexual opportuntiies we are willing to explore but which are denied.
Chad is "less incel" than us, because there are fewer sexual opportunities denied to him. But every single gigachad is still "incel" to probably at least 1 woman on earth who'd rather fuck a different gigachad than him, for whatever reason.
Having women make eye contact with you
Being able to talk with a woman without her being disgusted by your presence
Kissing but not getting sex
You're a volcel who rejected a granny
Being White
IE the purity-spiraling truecel/fakecel dichotomy, a similar D+C tactic meant to fragment our community.
Not sure if it's the jews our their IT golems infiltrating us behind this. I'm sure both are stoking the fires.
At the same time, a lot of genuine posters get sucked into these memes and honestly are pushing it to the point where the (((forces behind it))) don't even have to lift a finger anymore.
So I think it's safe to say that those people who claim "I'm a virgin but not an incel" might not actually be incels. They might just fit one of the qualities above. I don't think we can really call someone incel if we haven't come up with a clear definition. But I don't think we want to. I think users here would rather rot, whine, and compete for who is the ultimate victim.
If someone says "I'm a virgin but not incel" why should we even care? That's their choice to label themselves whatever they want. If there is no clear cut definition for a noun, then it's easy to say you aren't that noun, the noun in this case being "incel".
The reason we care about this is due to the anti-bragging rules. As
https://incels.is/threads/rules-terminology-and-faq.799/ highlights:
rules said:
Users
- Incel (Allowed): Person who desires, but is unable, to be in a romantic relationship.
- Blackpilled (Conditional): Person who is not currently incel, but agrees to respect the views portrayed on the forum. The user should be indistinguishable from other incel members, mentioning they aren't incel is an instant ban.
Basically saying "I'm not an incel" can be reasonably be seen as the insinuation of non-specific humble-bragging.
I just personally think "there could be some degenerate 90-year-old granny on her deathbed willing to take the cock of any incel on this forum" isn't necessarily something like bragging to acknowledge, as a technical example of how inceldom can't actually be demonstrably absolute even if it can be reasonably assumed to apply to a majority of foids you're willing to have sexual encounters with.
Plus the issue-which-must-not-be-named-lest-ye-be-warned of unspecified degenerates who we have no interest in.
If those we aren't attracted to are excluded via the view of celibacy as "the choice not to pursue someone you are interested in" then incel wouldn't actually make sense as a term because it wouldn't be right to call it celibacy at all if it wasn't a choice. Therefore for vol/cel to make sense as concepts it has to refer to just the outcome of not having sex or relationship.

Ppl just love changing the definition of incel
It's never had a consistent or reasonable definition to begin with.
Keep in mind the earliest usage referred to unmarried women, on the assumption that unmarried women didn't have relationships or sex.
Having sex with grannies and landwhales does not count as ascension.
This is the problem we face with floating definitions: there are some of us who DO consider that as ascending.
Celibacy/Virginity is supposed to be absence of sex as a whole, not sex with attractive fertile women only.
We should maybe call that neosex/neovirginity/neocelibacy or something if we're creating a subgrouping.
You don't choose to be involuntary celibate jfl
You could make choices that lead to it, which may be what some people mean.
For example: let's hypothesize I am a gigachad, and say I chose to chop off my dick, and then regretted it and wanted to have sex later, but could not, since I am now dickless.
Even though in the present moment I am incel because I want to have sex but cannot, I did make a past choice which contributed to my current inability to have sex, so you could say I was volcel in the moment I chose to chop off my gigachad cock.
