The 2nd hand market in my country is fucked. 70 series cards are only around 50$ cheaper than new (market value, not MSRP), and what boggles my mind is that they actually get sold.

The problem is it's only going to get worse.

1 manufacturer (TSMC) provides silicon for GPUs, CPUs, most phones, etc... and they're already maxed out.

Trump is making it harder with tariffs. Even if it's mostly fluff, it gives AMD, NVidia and AIBs an excuse to raise prices exorbitantly.

(((NVidia))) and (((AMD))) have learned they might as well scalp before scalpers can and are normalizing insane prices. And they've marketed software improvements which are largely bullshit as worthy of these price hikes.

The only way this will change is if PC gaming dies.
