Russians are afraid to die in the war

I don't care about china tbh, I just think the predicament you're in is very sad.
We are still kicking, as you can see) Still enriching our oligarchs with our sweat, blood and tears

It's nothing. We survived mongol occupation, we survived dark middle ages, we survived two world wars - we will survive even this

Ukr-Rus war didn't make a sensible difference in the life of average russian, to be honest

Khanivore the Russian Patriot, ha

We got many bad things. We got aggressive populace. We got pretty much new-gen monarchy. But.. can't this be attributed to many other countries? I.. don't know. I am better off not trying to understand everything - i am not an AI to know everything

And we still got good things too) Not all russians are aggressive, we made a great contribution to the world science

With that fertility rate?
Heh, you westerners like this stuff, i see.. Our gov imports immigrants from Central Asia for that

Fertility rate.. bad, of course, but it eill come in really sensible effect in time. Not today

How high do you think the russian morale of the average person is?

The future is mestizos, i presume - everyone will be a hybrid of nig-chink-white-arab someday

Hmmm hmmmm.... I don't think that i am sufficiently equipped to answer your question in a correct manner. You see, i am living in one place. That place may or not may make my views preconceived - I can't see the whole of russia, so i may or not may extrapolate my views on the whole country

It means.. I don't know. I really don't. There are just too many opinions! Each person got his own opinion on the war these days) and it is great. People are thinking!

But i can depict the 'morale' of some russians with whom i do talk, chat, communicate.. One wanted to go on the war, was a great supporter of it. Now.. not so much. And he didn't go to war

Second didn't really care from the start. Third was against the war, but in time started to not give a fuck.. heh, you can extrapolate those findings on "Russians don't really care about the war"

And it will.. or won't.. be correct! Amazing! Plainly amazing

I myself supported the war somehow - not by a vast margin, but I thought that Putin would finally make something great

Putin didn't. I am disappointed. Nothing special

You're doomed, brother. Take care, im going to sleepmaxx rn

The regime in Moscow is built on apathy and total negation of any mass movement so it makes sense.
Paradoxically enough it would be better for Russians to lose this war so that they could actually move right.

Something I've been talking about is a nation has to define what it is fighting for, and then it is also clear what is fighting against. Russia has been trying to define this and made some progress, but the Moscow state also faces serious problems defining it. Like sometimes Russia says it is the government of all the Russian people. More ambitious sometimes it says it is the government of all Slavic and/or all Orthodox people. Yet other times Russia says it is a multi-cultural nation, like with different ethnic regions in a federation.

Communism gave Russia a clear definition of what it was fighting for and against.

I don’t blame them tbh. 200,000 have Russian soldiers have died and Ukraine is getting top notch weapons from from US and other countries. It’s also cucked to die fighting in war for greedy old men

Ya this war its a very real chance soldiers will get killed. And why should they fight for some old rich guys of any side.

of course people are scared to die in war, even the most battle hardened veterans are afraid to die in war.

I guess its a matter of degree I am talking about. Like say you are so scared that you don't even go to the battles like the Chechens. Versus someone who is scared but still shows up to fight.

i mean, can you blame them for not wanting to show up? this isn't a normal war, it's modern warfare with all western countries shovelling new experimental military tech to ukraine for live testing. drones, missiles, artillery, and who knows what else (i've seen videos of the US testing laser and sound devices that can kill people, do you think they gave any to ukraine?)

i'd wanna sit this one out too

Ya I think you are right. I remember at the start of the war North of Kiev, reading about how brutal the losses were on the Russians. There is something in wars that say of your battalion or whatever of 1,000 men. Say 10 are dying each month. That adds up and is brutal over a long war, but its not that scary day to day or month to month. There is a pretty high chance you are going to make it out of each deployment.

These super accurate modern weapons are something else, like when they get on you its brutal losses, that rocks or even devastates the morale of the battalion.

For laser and sound devices I don't know, but I can imagine they are testing everything in this war and not reporting it, and the testing of very early technologies will be like in very limited circumstances.
