Teenager attacks school students with a knife in the Moscow Region, one child killed, security guard seriously injured. In the settlement of Gorki-2 in the Odintsovo urban district of the Moscow Region, a teenager attacked students at a school. As a result of the attack, a ten-year-old child was killed, and a security guard sustained a stab wound. The attacker was detained. The Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case on charges of murder.
The incident occurred in the morning, around 9:00 AM, at the Uspenskaya Secondary Comprehensive School. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Investigative Committee, the teenager sprayed a gas canister and then stabbed a security guard who tried to stop him. He then attacked one of the students. The child died at the scene from the wounds sustained.
Law enforcement officers detained the suspect at the school. He was taken to investigative authorities for procedural actions. Sources in law enforcement agencies report that the attacker is 15 years old and was a ninth-grade student at the same school.
