Horrible. I was so pissed after its release. No, never bought it. Did not even care to pirate it either.
And I am not even ralking about the story or playing as a mutt. That was not my problem. The game was buggy as hell and the controls / animations sucked ass. I've watched numerous reviews and decided to never buy it. To this day, on christmas, I play through Mafia 1 (OG) and Mafia 2 (OG). I especially LOVE the winter scenery. I love just driving around town and soaking in the christmas atmosphere, plus the music is nice.
The story was great, imo. The soundtrack, incredible.
In Germany, even during the 90's we would have games like Turok 2, afaik, that had cost 270 Deutsche Mark when they came out.

I have Tuned my San Andreas where i have a whole range of possibilities to make money whilst having the fun of your life, including robbing Banks. GTA V might aswell not even exit. and i find the map to be quite boring aswell. IV at least has better physics compared to San Andreas, and New York looks like New York.

It's over for Rockstar, by not releasing Trailer 2 which they should've done in December and staying silent, people got fed up of waiting and instead dug deeper and found out that Cuckstar has been troonified behind the scenes. If they would've released Trailer 2 already then none of this would've happened because people would've been distracted by Trailer 2.
i wish it would emualate better, on rpcs3 it's impossible to play at 60fps and even at 30fps it drops and xenia is incomplete as always
San Andreas is my favourite GTA from the amount of freedom and features included in it, I guess rockstar focused way more on the online than in the single player, GTA 5 was supposed to be much bigger and the source code shows single player DLCs were meant to be included, but then Rockstar found out online was a cash cow and abandoned the story mode, but this doesn't mean its woke though. Playing it on the PS3 Slim, it is as smooth as Ever. The emulator is still very young, unlike PCSX2. It needs more time for development, one game i would play on the emulator is Gran Turismo 6. It could profit for better performance since it capped with the PS3 specs.

I leave mine to play all games in 720p, and they all look great, what matters most is how well Tuned you have your TV settings. Some TVs have extra options that increase input lagg or other post-processing stuff that changes the visual output.
@starystulejarz What GPU would you recommend to emulate PS3 games? The RTX 3090? it is still out of reach for now. But it cant stay highpriced forever.

You don't need anything stronger than rtx 3070 even at 4k. CPU is the most important you want strong single and multi core perf with AVX-512 which is pretty much mandatory for that shit emulator. Only option atm are brand new Ryzens and 8 strong cores seem to be the new minimum. Intel has become a laughing stock so don't even think about buying their cpus. Give me a sec i will try to test GT6 at 4k there may be a few games that may require much better gpus than my 5700xt to play at 4k (i was always running it at 1080p)
Nascar like course (Motegi) was running at 50-58fps.
Mattehorn during the night was maxing out my gpu and dropping below 50fps.

Yeah its not worth the hassle, Xenia mogs rpcs3 and even Xenia is kinda trash, I guess 7th gen emulation isn't good enough yet. I heard Saints row is good on xenia tho.
Burnout Revenge is now almost perfect on Xenia Canary. Audio was fucked for so long and now it plays as it should be only issue is screen blinking (can be mitigated somewhat by setting higher setting on vsync interval) and not being able to play at higher resolutions, performance is just perfect so i'm satisfied with 720p/60fps and working audio. Shame that one mode still is capped at 30fps and i can't seem to find a way to uncap that.
