I'm surprised it isn't higher. The games in the top 20 mostly look way more basic than Jailbreak!

I think it's the move to mobile though, plus the devs seem less engaged.

Riot City is good because I think it's more mobile-friendly and it's new so the devs are keen to work on the game I'd think ^^

The Riot City update yesterday was pretty good!

The highlights were snipers and a new robbery ^_^

I do find the public servers for RC and JB all a bit... prone to being a bit full-on with the PvP though so this is making me veer back to Wanted a bit.

I love Jailbreak but I feel like it's not as good as it used to be.

Not many updates, when we do get them they're not very good, plus the PvP has gotten pretty strange IMO! Forcefield launchers and gliders and stuff! Not like the good old days!

Riot City feels more like classic Jailbreak, to me.

Asimo did announce a "phase 2" (Whatever that means). Jailbreak Devs seem to be focused on other projects, which is why I believe there is less updates. I hope we at least get a new robbery, though I'm looking forward to the live event at least and hopefully new car

The PVP is meh. I don't play publics much, usually I'm in private servers grinding money. I can't stand the small hitboxes, along with the shitty items you mentioned. I do enjoy getting bounties here and there, but I usually play just to get cars and trade up

Badimo are strange! They give such mixed signals! One minute it's like they're moving on and that's it Jailbreak is done, and the next apparently they're all-in again working super hard!

Yeah erm... I guess this is why I started to lose hope and focus on games like Riot City and Wanted.

And yeah those items what on Earth is up with that! Some cop just gliding at you or hiding behind a silly shield! In Riot City it's pretty much just guns and that's it.

Also yeah I've spent ages on my private server also ^^

I probably won't make the change to other sandbox cops-and-robbers style games. But the way they've steered with jailbreak made me lose interest for a whole year. But I recently got back into it. It's only 1 of few games I enjoy on Roblox. But we haven't had a major update since like '23 or '24. Honestly, I hope this phase 2 is an entirely new map.

I feel like they've lost hope too that it will ever become massive again. idk. It will be interesting to see what these updates will be for sure ^_^

And lol yah on Riot City I saw a monkey cop and a parrot crim, lol

I do have the bionic and volt... the volt you can pop the tyres but it's just difficult to do.

The bionic... it's pretty good but you can still shoot it down like a heli.

I've found the jet to be the best counter for the bionic/drone's lack of tires. The jet has auto lock-on missiles.

Kinda pricey missiles though!

I think if you just shoot the bionic it will come down. Like shooting a helicopter.
