Why does RE4 Remake run so much worse than RE Village despite having:
Identical graphics
Identical system requirements
Identical gameplay

We are talking about at least 33% performance loss. I could play Village on maxed out settings (excl. RT) and never drop below 75 fps (my refresh rate) even when getting gangraped by lycans in the prologue.
Yet the same game but set in Spain forces me to lower my appetite to med-high and i would still get frequent fps drops and my GPU would go jet engine mode.
The real reason is pretty simple: it's Denuvo. You see, i'm a piratecel and i played Village well after it was released, meaning Crapcum has already removed the DRM and i got to pirate a DRM-free version. The Spanish adventures of Leon on the other hand are still anally tainted by the jewish greed and even the cracked version still suffers from performance lose caused by it.
