Just went down a rabbithole reading blogposts, half of which are an absolute trip the way you guys chimp out in front of your family members. It makes them uncomfortable. Not because they don't believe what you're saying, but because telling the truth has a purpose, it is just a form of being uppity about your place in the social hierarchy. This planet is a fucking arena, they don't want to help you, people really just want you to know your place. Doth protest too much.
