Inability to resent the actions of abusers is what keeping normies to be loyal to their shitty parents despite getting treated like shit all of their childhood.Abusers downplay existence of resentment because they know that once it is ignited in the victim it will spread like a wildfire ,regardless of the means to contain it.Lack of resentment in victims allow wrongdoers to get away with horrible deeds they have done to you.
