Are you an artsy guy? Lord Byron fucked so many bitches he had gonorrhea.

Perhaps you like great kings? They were all moggers except the Habsburgs.

You're hyperviolent? WWE guys are all superb at physical acting.

What about science? Da Vinci famously hated the church because sometimes a local count who was a Christcuck would knock on his door and tell him to stop fucking so many femboys and let him sleep.*

Point being, you can't really have idols or moral figures without engaging in some sort of cuckoldry where you value their lives over yours. Because you'll never stack up to them, not even outside of their field of study, but also in their personal lives. You're a fuckup and they weren't.

So what do you do if you want to keep having heroes?

No idea. I'm only a critic. I don't offer solutions, I just point out problems.

*This is what we humans call a joke.

I don’t think I’ve ever idolized a real person, probably only fictional characters when I was way younger.

And is worshipping a god really any different? You’re basically idolizing what would essentially be the greatest chad of all time.

I know ZERO incel role models. Every person who achieved something great was either a sexhaver or an asexual volcel. Even people like David Goggins were sexhavers already before they turned their life around. All my favorite writers and artists are sexhavers. What are the chances that I'll be the first successful incel, then?

I don't idolize anyone, never did. I hope you don't too OP.

That's why watching sports is hard for me. You have to care about other dudes.

I thought everyone realized this once they hit age 14.
You never glorify who they were as individuals but what they did or stood for in the larger mythos of humanity. Are statues dedicated to Admiral Nelson for his love affairs or his victory at Trafalgar? Who he was as an individual and what he did in his personal life is ignored for the sake of the glory he brought for his country and his glorification is more symbolic than literal.
This can be said for literally every single "great man" in history. How many people know that Einstein was a Zionist? Few, because his personal life is completely irrelevant to his legacy since he stands for something that isn't political.

It's hard. I am writing a story and I found myself idolizing my own side character. So I knocked him/me down a peg by writing a believable fall from grace for him/me.

Some hERoes were like us

It's your own character so it's not as bad.

I idolized actors/singers when I was younger, because I guess I always wanted to be that one day, seen by everyone and funny, cool, etc. I assumed most people who were bullied and mentally/physically dumped on when they were younger did - hell I assume everyone did.

Turns out when you're raised properly and well adjusted you actually develop good life skills and hobbies through said experiences that don't correlate to being rich, famous, heaps of money (my family was/is dirt poor). Now I idolize nothing.

Kant died a virgin, so did Newton.
Nietzsche, despite popular belief, most likely died a virgin.
Schopenhauer did ascend with few prostitutes/low status women but was celibate for most of his life.
Kierkegaard was engaged but most likely never had sex.
Spinoza probably died virgin.
Pascal CERTAINLY died virgin.
Heraclitus, Plato and Descartes never married and likely never bothered with women.
