That's very believable. I also think that a lot of men are clueless about whether or not their own "child" is actually theirs. Such cases can be found wherein guys raising kids for years will find out via a DNA test that their kid isn't actually genetically theirs.

The seeds for hypergamy were planted 150 years ago, and every passing year women have been getting more hypergamous as society has been getting more and more sexually free with every passing year. My dad was 5'5 and ugly and even though society was already getting cucked, he had moderate success when it came to women. He probably cannot fathom how difficult it is for men today.
