Venting Rejected multiple times in a single semester, WTF is wrong with me???

I'm 23 now and before this semester in uni I only ever asked girls out 3 times in my life. This year I decided to make a change and tried hard to really improve myself and take a step forward. I talked with, walked with after class, befriended, and got the numbers and texted with 3 women (each in a different class) over the course of the semester. However as I took my shot and and asked each of them out eventually. The first one flat out rejected me and when I asked what I could improve on she just told me I "just wasnt her type", another said she was in a relationship, and the last outright ghosted me just a few days ago. I dont understand WTF am I doing wrong???

with the 2 that are still friends with and in contact w/ me still? I dunno never had this happen before with women where I was let off amicably and we remain "friends" afterwards, is there any other use I can have with them if not romantic/sexual?

Be careful. Do you treat them like friends or you give them boyfriend attention while they give you nothing back? Also women feel despair like it was a smell and they hate it. In contradiction, you would have more chances being less interested and less available.
