Do you think that cushioned, ergonomic chairs are more harmful than chairs without backrests and with hard seats? I suspect that lower back pain is entirely due to cushioned chairs and beds. Muscles die if they are not used, so the most comfortable chairs and beds are the most dangerous; besides, I think the correct sitting posture is actually not leaning back, sitting on the edge of the chair with the pelvis facing forward and a leg flexion angle less than 90 degrees, allowing the legs and gluteal muscles to bear a large portion of the body weight instead of the lower back. Perhaps letting the lower back bear the weight is the reason for the body's herniation and bone spurs to adapt, but I'm not sure. I don't really believe in surgery; perhaps it only temporarily alleviates the symptoms and doesn't address the root cause of incorrect sitting posture. A few days ago, I saw a young man, about 16 years old, who worked as a laborer and had placed a pile of bricks on his neck, causing his neck to hunch at a 90-degree angle. I approached him and was quite surprised that he said he was fine. This made me suspect about common medical advice regarding posture while sitting, lying down, and footwear.

What do you think?

If you lift weights casually you won't get back pain.
Only back pain is real

Because your core muscles are weak, you'll need muscle in other areas, causing an imbalance in your body, which is worse.
I have been rotting in front of a computer or in a bed 24/7 for decades, but I lift weights casually and I don't have pain anywhere, I had back pain caused by rotting when I didn't lift for a few years in my early 20's.
