I have been traumatized.
I have been the victim of violence many times.
Not one part of my body is not scarred.
And you know what?
No one ever gave a shit.
I’ve been told to carry on, don’t complain, and be a man.
Yet, I am told to have empathy for others.
Well……when exactly are others going to have empathy for me?
These same people saying that I should have empathy for others……..have no empathy for me.
And that is one more reason why therapy is bullshit.
