It deeply frustrates me how frequently these losers seek to guilt young, impressionable men into believing that an interest in video games is a sign of weakness or failure. This narrative is not only intellectually dishonest... it is deeply manipulative.
They prey upon youthful insecurity, peddling an illusion of hyper masculinity and relentless productivity as the sole path to worth and success. They present a false dichotomy, that one must either be entirely consumed by the pursuit of status and wealth, or be dismissed as a "loser.".
