All worldbuilding, alternate history and other similar creative writing project sites (such as SCP) on the internet have been taken over by reddit-tier people. From SCP being taken over by LGBT faggots who banned people for turning the site's logo into a rainbow flag, to sites like alternatehistory.com having garbage moderation that bans anyone with a remotely right-of-centre opinion, reddit cucks with an agenda have taken over every corner of the internet that was originally meant for LARPy, worldbuilding creative writing stuff. Not talking about gay homestuck tier tumblr fingerblasting fanfics, moreso fictional stuff that is written for and by people with extreme male brains.
This issue isn't purely people with a political agenda though, it's moreso a certain type of person taking over these kinds of communities. Faggots will move to these sites and immediately get to work on driving away everyone who has the slightest bit of edge (which comes with a spark that lets them create original stuff) and refuses to conform to their reddit zeitgeist, either by zerg rushing the website and circlejerking until only they remain, or taking over the moderator team with people who have a vendetta against anyone who doesn't talk and think like a mouth-breathing redditor. As a result these sorts of sites become stagnant, with the last non-shit original content of any note having been made years ago (redditors will treat it the creation of that thing as the community's salad days, even though they weren't there, and will never ask themselves why that sort of stuff isn't being made anymore) and a bunch of people circlejerking over the same old shit. Tumblr-tier fanfic wrecks will be allowed to slide by the website's new moderation and userbase. A lot of the time members of the website will barely even spend their time on anything creative writing-related, instead preferring to talk about how bad Donald Trump is in a politics offtopic section or siphon the website's activity off onto a social thread or some chatroom like discord so they can act like the whole thing is facebook instead of a worldbuilding/creative site for people to make things and post them.
I think this is somewhat relevant to this website because, at its core, worldbuilding, creative writing and alternate history sort of stuff is mostly a cope for people who don't have fantastic social lives, either because they aren't very attractive or they have poor social skills. As far as copes go it's probably one of the most productive copes there is (apart from gymcelling or crypto) because you're actually creating something along with eating chips off your chest and jacking off to futa like you normally do. The people who invade these websites are all low-tier normalfags, not even facebook normalfags who post pics of themselves getting drunk at parties on facebook, which allows them to convincingly LARP as the kind of person that should ideally populate these groups until it's too late and they shit it up (similar to the situation on 4chan).
