i know this is very well known on this forum and shit, so its more or less just a rant, but everyone you meet on there is the fucking same. you cannot post ANYTHING on reddit without it immediately being taken down for some BS reason. your post doesnt even stay up for a few minutes, because as soon as you click "post" automod strikes it. this isnt even mentioning the people on reddit, which is overall the worst part of reddit.
people on reddit have 0 personality and believe what anyone else says on there like the typical normfags they are without thinking for themselves. an example of this is the daddy0five controversy in 2017. if you dont know who daddy0five is he was basically a dad with 5 kids who vlogged and made prank videos which were supposely considered child abuse. the videos werent really abuse though, but this is about reddit so ill make another post at some point disecting the daddy05 controversy. anyway there was a video on the mommy0five channel (the moms channel) where the mom acts like a home invader is in there house. one of the kids dresses up as a home invader and the mom triggers the house alarm. the dad comes downstairs with a pistol and points the gun at the kid. heres the thing, the dad never knew it was a prank, but simply because some faggots on reddit didnt watch the video or listen to it, now everyone thought the dad almost shot his son even though he was trying to protect his family from a supposed home invader. those who spoke up, saying the dad did nothing wrong, were quickly silenced and banned. if these normies actually took the time to watch the video they would know that the dad wasent in the wrong, but no. this is why reddit is a massive echo chamber. once something false is passed around its impossible to make almost anyone else think different of the situation. shit is so fucked. i know nearly the entire internet is like this but reddit has it damn near the worst.
