"I always thought I was pretty, but I have an obvious generic disorder so people often have made me feel that I was unattractive. I go back and forth on it, and there have been times in my life it really tormented me, so I can't make fun of people's looks and I can't stand that subreddit. We really should be trying to teach future generations that our value isn't in a random occurrence of generics judged by a fairly unstable and changing standard set by people who have very little grasp of what really matters in life. But we're not. We're moving farther and farther from it. And it rankles because I'll always be "pretty if you weren't handicapped".
