I have a feeling that Fallen Doll will end up like that. The devs have never really shown what the gameplay is supposed to look like, even though the sex scenes so far are okay-ish.
Also, have you tried Seed of the Dead? They recently released its sequel Seed of the Dead: Sweet Home. I downloaded it from dlsite but it might also be available on Steam. It's a shittier version of L4D2 in terms of gameplay but your teammates can get fucked (and then killed) by zombies.

Destiny 2: shitty consolenigger shooter. the gunplay is shit because guns sound and feel like waterguns, the movement is slow, all of this because it's a game designed for consoleniggers.
Warframe: destiny 2 but less shitty, but still a shit game. grindy skinnerbox threadmil simulator. the core gameplay is garbage since it's not challenging so basically u only play for the sake of farming rather than having fun.
Path of Exile: didn't play it but i watched other people play and it's basically retarded game with no gameplay since the endgame is basically walking while you spam aoe attacks, so basically walking and pressing one button, wow, so engaging.
Runescape: Probably the worst community of any game. most of the gameplay is grinding like a retard. the combat and movement is clunky and their content (quests for example) are nothing but chores.

It wasn't bad but I wanted the magic of diablo v1.0 necromancer (1/level skels) and instead I got the expansion pack neerfed necro of multiple points needed per extra minion. I might give it another go, dunno

okay so zombie took down the eldiest/bustiest, it fucks her doggystyle and when they've fallen you fuck them in a diff position to revive them from 0 health than you do to restore health while they're still alive/standing
you basically do a piledriver on the bagongas girl, gonna see what the next two take to revive
also got a 'bad end' I think if all of them are on the ground simultaneously you lose, otherwise you could jsut outrun the zombies
even before I figured out shift=sprint it's pretty easy to avoid zombie mobes by strafing around them in circles, which I could teach the AI to do it

one mechanic I like about this is when you get hit by a zombie it throws off your aim which makes sense, also why it's good to use big-swing melee weapons when you're closed in on
I don't like the whole 'your guns have unlimited reloads' bullshit tho, Left4dead had that for your basic pistols, it'sn ot realistic
fucking foids refills some yellow bar for you and a red bar for them (separate from health) but not sure what it means like if it's armor or something
basically I'm trying to keep 2 at high health and letting zombies whittle down a 3rd to see her ground animations

The sex scenes are underwhelming indeed. The thing I like about this game is that it at least has some basic gameplay. A bare minimum gameplay experience + sex scene make the game feel a lot more rewarding but YMMV. I would say I enjoy this game as much as I enjoy 3A eroges that don't have any gameplay at all, such as AI shoujo, despite them having superior sex scenes.
Did you get to the later stages? The first few levels were pretty easy, but I remember getting stuck at a certain level for hours. It was quite effortless to get them killed at that point. I do admit that I suck at FPS, but there's no way the girls can defeat waves alone in later stages.
Sweet home has a lot more variety, both in terms of mechanics and sex scenes. You can upgrade your weapons and unlock CGs by gifting the right type of items. It's just as grindy though, and the variety is also quite limited IMO. I've always had much lower expectations for Japanese indie developers so maybe I enjoyed the sequel more than I should. I remember you could download it on 4chan's /vg/vhg but I don't know if it's still available.
Are you talking about the in-combat sex with MC when they are down? That's part of the gameplay to recover HP, but yeah it's not realistic at all. When you actually get to a proper sex scene, they'll forget about the fact that you've already fucked them I think
