it doesn't necessarily need to be an overtly serious or a well written show though, something like psycho pass that has a great bit of action and a good story I also enjoy. I don't really like slice of life or romance except for a few.

EOS is an action/comedy isekai, danmachi is an action adventure anime (title is very misleading). gekkan shoujo is 70% comedy , 20% slice of life, and 10% romance.
