Einstien once said that imagination is better than reality because it has no limits. Painfully true.
The stories in video games can be told so well and can be immersive as fuck; you can forget you are incel for a while. It was like this for me when I played Yakuza 0, I was happy to be a alive for a little while, and had the motivation to do chores before another gaming session.
Once you realise that reality sucks, escapism is the only way to be happy.
