If I was chosen to make a batman movie, I'd make batman not be Bruce Wayne, but his father, Thomas Wayne.
Yeah, this ideas not original or entirely mine, it came from a story arc called flashpoint where the flash accidentally rewrites reality.
In this reality, Bruce gets shot and killed by that mugger in crime alley, not Thomas or Martha.
Thomas kills the mugger and Martha goes insane from Bruce's death and becomes this realities version of the joker.

And btw, as a sidenote, I wish they gave Martha the maiden name Arkham and not Kane, because that would strengthen Bruce's connection to the Arkham family and make him a relative it's founder Amadeus Arkham.
And some stories heavily imply the Arkham bloodline is cursed with madness.
As shown with Amadeus himself and his nephew, Jeremiah, who would become the second Black Mask.
Thomas becomes batman in this reality, but is a lot more violent and fucked up than Bruce is as batman.
As in, he uses guns and he kills criminals.

I don't have an actual idea for plot, but the main idea for it is that it would take place in an alternate Gotham where Bruce doesn't become batman, but Thomas does and he's a more violent, merciless version of him.
