No. It does interest me tho. And I will probably be forced to travel by train to California in winter
I thought about it, but 1. It's bulky and heavy and cumbersome to haul all day. 2. I'm kind of at the bottom of a steep hill, so water will wash my shit away when It rains. I've got a nice tarp I can put over my hammock when it rains and I'm off the ground.
They can get hard on the body to carry around a lot, they have got ones that are lighter but they are less durable, doesn't seem like too bad of a setup being off the ground helps a decent bit but it can be useful to keep you cooler during hot nights

Honestly, where I'm at I've only seen 2 other homeless encampments. 1 white druggie couple and a black guy. Both seem to sleep all day. I'm in a pretty good area tbh as far as homelessness goes. Lots of rich white and Indian people
